AJC pages by date
This is a list of pages I’ve built at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, as complete as possible given the limits of memory and the fact that several features of ajc.com’s living section, for example Buzz, do not have permanent URLs. The interactives and photo galleries are likely to be more exciting than most of the article pages. Dates are those of publication; pages are often built at least a day in advance.

Technical
• Modifications to Error 404 Not Found page. When a visitor stumbles on a broken link within the site, the resulting error page allows her to report the problem to the AJC’s online editors with one click, rather than asking that an e-mail be sent as before. It’s not quite as sophisticated as the error page on my own site, where I am e-mailed automatically if there is such a problem without any user action, but it was the best that was possible on their server. The coding is a combination of SSI and Javascript. (July 17, 2002; unfortunately I can’t link to this project because to see the one-click error reporting system, you have to be referred to a broken link from within ajc.com.)
• Automatically updating TV best bets link (July 16, 2002; this link appears on the AJC’s index of TV coverage, and will correctly link to the current day’s prime-time TV recommendations without being manually updated each day. It’s programmed in reasonably simple XSSI.)
